About this object

Rectangular piece is in three colored satins-red for the central medallion, brown for the border to the medallion and yellow for the outside edge and off-white for the rest, the fringe is in gold. The cross in the center of each piece is woven in silver thread and is outlined with a narrow gold braid. There are stylized floral motifs on the coin and between the arms and bits of colored velvets sewn on with details in embroidery. This is the same technique used for the formalized flowers and leaves that decorate the rest of each piece.
