About this object

The light colored horn has the end carved in the shape of a thin animals head with eyes and a small mouth. The outside of the horn is engraved with circles, crosses and lines, all in a stippled pattern. The brass rim is engraved with lines of dots in a traingular pattern. The cover has an oval brass plaque that is inscribed.
