A round box made in shell. It is mounted in gilt metal, possibly copper. It is pique all over in gilt with a small abstract design applied in a medallion on the lid under glass. It is a monogram made in gilt metal. It is florid and interlaced. It is topped by a crown and applied to a ground of woven greyish hair or basketwork.
