The round box has a detachable cover with an elaborate picture in color. It shows Martin Luther appearing before a group of officials, prelates, nobles and other men. He stands to the right, in his robes, with his right hand pointing to himself. This is taking place in a Gothic style room. The rest of the box is made in paper mache and colored black.
