The box is round with a detachable cover. On the cover is a print of two old soldiers who are pushing a wheelbarrow on which there is a drum. One smokes a pipe and the other holds two rifles. Behind them is a dog who is tied to the cart. Another dog runs ahead. In the right background is a large house. The rest of the box is in red lacquer.
