About this object

Flooring is designed in a Neo-Classic style. The floor is composed of many different types of woods. The pattern of the floor includes a large circular medallion in the center which is edged with a double scroll design on the outside and a scalloped pattern on the inside. In the center of the circle is an octagonal medallion with a scalloped circle within it. Surrounding the medallion are four oval medallions, each containing a vase with flowers. Extending out from the large medallion are four smaller circles, attached with the double scroll design. These medallions have a five petalled flower in its center. The flooring at the two ends of the room is in a half circle shape, outlined in the double scroll pattern and attached to the rest of the floor with a key meander pattern.
