About this object

The beloows are made in an ornate Rococo style. Around the edge are ornate leaf scrolls. There is a finial on the handle in the form of a head of an old man. On the front in the center is a a seated winged putto in profile. He is blowing on a fire through a tube. It is carved in high relief. The back is flatter and shows a mask carved in low relief of an old man with a hole in his mouth. The lowest point is carved with an animal head like a dragon. The all over shape is that of an oval with long extended points.
