About this object

The square box has wood marquetry on the lid. It shows a landscape with buildings sitting on a bridge, a tree to the left, a stream underneath and a greenish sky. The interior of the lid is fitted with a mirror and is lined with beige grosgrain fabric. There are fitted compartments for a toilet set and objects inside. It has a metal thumbpiece and a keyhole with the key inside it.
