About this object

The compartment at the right has one large and three small sections, the former having a boule cover, is empty. The three small compartment were for the sandbox, an inkwell, a silver seal, and an ivory jar. The sand box is rectangular in shape. It has a flat boule design cover. The main part of the box is covered with gold paper. There are pieces of material attached to help remove it.
