About this object
Front is carved with crucifixion with Mary and John and about this eleven medallions with scenes from the Passion of Our Lord. In each corner is a cherubim. On the opposite side, in the center, the Virgin holding the Christ Child stands on the crescent while in the eleven medallions are scenes from the life of the Virgin and Old Testament prophets. The frame is in gilt copper engraved at the corners and middle of the sides with cartouches of leaves and strapwork.
