About this object

The cabinet on top is made in three sections. There are two side sections which are fitted with cupboard doors. They have keyholes along the inner side. The central section is recessed and contains four drawers. Each drawer has a flat round brass pull and a key hole plate. The top is a plain rectangular piece of mahogany. The doors and drawers are also edged with mahogany. The cabinet sits on a stand which is not original to the piece. The stand has four tapered legs which are joined in the center by an I shaped stretcher. The upper part of the stand has one long drwaer which has two brass pulls.
