About this object

The symmetrical design with white flowers and scrolls on a yellow marble ground and a border with cornucopias full of fruit was supervised by Joseph Urban, architect for Mar-A-Lago, inspired by Renaissance pietre dure tables in the Pitti Palace in Florence. Eleven different stones were used, including various marbles. Hutton coat-of-arms and device of mosaic works used in design. Has six leaves.
