About this object

Drawer fronts of light wood set off by strips of darker wood. At top edge a narrow delicate inlaid border of quatrefoils. At the top of a set back superstructure, three shallow drawers, smaller one in middle. Below in center a door with an oval medallion in paler wood, concealing racks for pens and a built in inkwell. On either side a sliding slatted panel each concealing three pigeon holes and below, three drawers, two smaller above, one bigger below. Folding top, when open supported by two pull out vertical boards. Three drawers, top one shallower, shorter than the two lower ones. Handles in bronze. Short legs, straight, rectangular, slightly tapered.
