About this object

The armchairs are chippendale style. The back and seat are upholstered in needlework. The scenes include fish, ships and British flags. They have a curved top with open curved arms ending in horizontal scrolls. The legs have curved knees, and front scrolled feet, while the back feet are plain. .2 has a ship with two red flags on the back approaching a village on the left. The seat has two ships on it.
