About this object

On top of the back of the chair, there a removable panel painted with three figures: two elderly churchmen and an old woman drinking beer. The chair has a flat rectangular back with triple openwork motif. The chair arms are flat and attached with pegs. A flat side supports each chair arm with an openwork motif, similar to the one at the top. The seat is slightly curved, formed of eleven slats, and has a loose black leather cushion.
