About this object

One drawer table is inlaid with different colored woods on the top, sides and legs. On top is a view of Moscow's Kremlin. The Great Kremlin Palace, the Sviblov (Water-Pumping) Tower, the Cathedral of the Annunciation, the Cathedral of the Archangel Michael, and the walls are all visible. These scenes are all rendered in marquetry with multicolored fan shapes at the outer corners. The sides are ornamented with a zigzagging marquetry and the legs are inlaid with long, thin horizontal panels of alternating dark and light wood. The table contains one drawer.
