About this object

Carved arms rest in the front on the necks of eagles whose wings form further support for the arms. At back the arms join the necks of eagles facng backwards. Skirt each side being carved from a single piece of wood, has in the upperpart a rinceau, the lower part being swags of drapery. Legs end in primitive ball feet.
