About this object

The table is rectangular with a low shelf and standing on four cabriole legs. The edge of the top is slightly wavy and outlined with a brass railing in openwork which is also used for the shelf. A vase with flowers in marquetry decorates the top, sides, back, and shelf, while three drawers on the front have each a pair of floral sprays. The legs are veneered in plain wood and end in rococo brass sabots.
