About this object

The table is rectangular with a lower shelf, and stands on four cabriole legs. It is veneered all over in a cube motif. The top has a railing in openwork brass. At the top of the front is a writing slide and below this a fake drawer and two actual drawers. At the right side is one drawer fitted with compartments for writing utensils. The two front legs have rococo brass ornaments at the bottom.
