About this object

In Louis XVI style, the top is in tan mottled onyx. On front and sides rectangular ormolu plaques with putti in relief, vine scrolls and rosettes on either side. At rounded corners branch-like swags in ormolu hang down. Legs fluted, bronze on ridges, tapered.
