About this object
The statuette represents Winter. It is shown as a boy carrying on his right shoulder a bundle of green faggots with his left arm raised above his head. He wears a white jacket with purple flowers under a short-sleeved overjacket in mauve pink bordered with fur, a rust belt, pale yellow pants and black boots. His right leg is kneeling on a green tree stump which has a vine and two bunches of rust berries on it. This stands on a plain white circular base with a narrow gold band in the Louis XVI style.
