About this object
The statuette shows an old peddler wearing a fur-trimmed hat, coat and boots. He also wears fur mittens and carries a tray on his head covered with a cloth. He holds this with his left hand. He is bearded. The tray has barrel-like sides and the ground is rough. He has a tree stump behind him for support.
