About this object

The pedestal base of the compote is decorated with formal patterns in relief touched with gold. The rims of the base and dish are pink with rococo scrolls in gold. The bowl is painted with a exotic birds in a landscape. The underside of the bowl has a matching border and three smaller landscapes each with a single exotic bird.
