About this object

The medallion is oval in shape and made from blue and white jasperware. The medallion shows a man seen bust length. He is Thomas Bentley. He is dressed in the 18th century fashion and seen in profile facing to the right. He wears a pigtail tied at the back and his open waistcoat shows a lace jabot at the neck. It is set in an oval 18th century style wooden frame.
