About this object

The vases are classical in shape. They look like incense burners with a covered bowl resting on three legs. These in turn rest on a triangular base. On the cover is a row of inverted acanthus leaves in white. Around the neck of the bowl is a row of inverted dart-like leaves. At the top of each leg is a lion mask with a ring in its mouth and an acanthus leaf at the base of each leg.
