About this object

The statuette represents a woman in 18th century costume. The woman is standing, and is kneeling with her right knee on a rock. She has placed a basket full of flowers on the rock and is looking into the basket and holding it with her two arms. She wears a white blouse, blue bodice, a bouffant yellow over-skirt and a white skirt with lavender stripes and red flowers. She is bare foot. She stands on a round base with a greek key meander pattern in gold around the edge.
