About this object
The statuette shows a young woman standing. She is an allegory for Asia from a set of the four continents. She holds a gold scepter in her left hand with one end resting on her shoulder. Hanging from her right arm is a beige incense burner. She wears a red purple conical headress with five gold ornaments on her head. She also wears a green coat lined in rust red with a floral border. Underneath it is a white flaring robe with lavender collar and lining and flower clusters, and under that are yellow pantaloons. She stands on a white base with rococo scrolls touched with gold.
