About this object

The oval medallion is painted in colored enamels. It shows the half-length figures of two women embracing. They both have white curled hair adorned with roses. The one on the left wears a red dress with a blue inset to the bodice and a flowing turquoise scarf. The one on the right wears a purplish bodice with green borders and white ruffled cuffs and a pink rose tucked in the neckline. In the background are some trees to the left and a building to the right.
