About this object

The urn shaped body on gilt square plynth with gilt foliate scroll handles enclosing paterae and terminating in masks. The front depicting a profusion of flowers surrounding a brightly colored bird sampling fruit on white ground. The obverse with gilt rocaille reserve enclosing a loose bouquet. Remaining body enriched with gilt scroll, geometric, and diaperwork on royal blue ground. The everted gilt neck engraved with cornucopea.
