About this object

On the front of the cup is a rectangular panel with a landscape and the palace at Gatchina in the distance, a lake with a boat to the left and a man walking in the foreground. Gold floral motifs decorate the rest of the cup.. The foot, lip, handle, and interior are partly gilded. A stylized daisy is incorporated into the curve of the scroll handle.
