About this object

An excellent imitation of a Sevres plate in bleu celeste, possibly made to replace a broken plate in a Sevres service. The central part is white; on the rim is in bleu celeste or turquoise with three kidney shaped panels reserved in white, each painted in colors with a bird sitting on a limb of a tree and some flowers. Around the entire border are swags of oak leaves in gold.
