About this object

Cluster of flowers in natural colors on a white ground in the center bottom of th plate. On the rims are six irregular cartouches with a white ground. Th cartouches are painted with fruit, flowers or animals; usually one cartouche with each of the first two and four with animals, one animal to a cartouche. The animals vary considerably, there is some repetition, but never in the same combination. The rim between them is painted various colors.
