About this object

Every piece is painted around with an elaborate landscape with peasant men, women, and children in native costume engaged in various pastimes and games. All pieces have gold lined canopy and surmounted by the imperial crown, all in gold, and with a shield of arms in colors in center. Bands around bases, the necks, rims and handles and in gold, as well as inside cups.
