A pair of glazed porcelain figures. Two men in fancy costume stand on a platform, each near a tree stump. Platform is mottled in greys, green and yellow while the edge is gilded. Man at left wears a black hat with a plume in various colors. Jacket is dark brown lined with green. Gloves are green. From yellow belt hangs a bag or sack shaped like a face. Trousers are blue and boots are yellow. His left hand rests on a gold sword and his right holds a brown stick. Figure on the right has a grey wig. He is in court costume and holds a perfume bottle to his nose. Jacket is blue trimmed with yellow lace. Waistcoat is Chinese red. Trousers are grey blue, stockings white and slippers blue. He holds a black tricorn hat in his left hand.
