About this object

Box is formed as a sheaf of wheat upon which reclines a peasant girl in costume holding a sickle and an apron full of vari-colored flowers. Hat and hair are black. Blouse is white and bodice is several colors. Outer skirt is red and petticoat in stripes of red, white and gold. Slippers are red.
