About this object

The ground is turquoise-blue; the outer edge is plain, not scalloped; in the center on white is a cluster of flowers in natural color; on the rim are three oval panels reserved in white, framed by a plain gold band, each containing a single exotic bird in a landscape; between the panels are swags of roses in gold on the turquoise ground.
