This plate is part of a service, comprising 24 small plates, 28 large plates ,4 shell-shaped dishes, 2 square dishes and 4 round deep dishes (24.72-24.76). All pieces present the same decoration with only slight variations. In the center on a white ground is a cluster of fruit in natural color sorrounded by a twisted ribbon, like a rope, in turquoise-blue; outside are six clusters of flowers connected by narrow swags of leaves; next, another turquoise-blue ribbon is looped six times outward and six times inward; the rim has six sprays of flowers each enclosing a small white blank area, on a background dotted in gold.
