The ground is turquoise-blue. The rim and center are covered with oeil de perdrix. Four medallions near the rim, reserved in white contain each a single pink roses sorrounded by a band of stylized leaves in gold. A smaller medallion in the center contains a rose.

MARK Crossed L's with C inside and four/ five dots below; C - 1755; The four dots, displayed in cross shape, may have been center by a fifth one, now obliterated. This fact would make this mark that of Fontaine (Jacques), painter of flowers, maritime scenes, cupids ... from 1752 to 1775 and again from 1778 to 1807
