The background is turquoise-blue; each piece has two oval panels containing on or two figures in a landscape after Huet; one on the cover shows a boy training a dog to stand on his hind legs; on on the oval tray shows a youth manipulating a bird trap.

MARK Both the ecuelle (.1) and the plateau (.3) are marked with crossed L's, the date letter X for 1775 and Ch for the painter Chabry (Etienne-Jean), fils, painter of pastoral scenes, 1765-1787, all in blue; also D R in gold near foot rim for Francois Drand, painter of flowers and gilder 1764-75 and 1780. Eriksen/Bellaigue note the this mark is occasionally placed at some distance of the factory mark (see n. 37). .1 has M 6 incised; .3 has T m incised. o
