About this object

On the front of the cup is the script letter V in blue flowers surmounted by a crown in gold leaves, around the rims swags of gold leaves enclose speckled blue areas, on each side is a small blue medallion enclosing gold flowers, around the remaining areas are three kinds of swags of roses, varied flowers, and green leaves with berries. The saucer has the same decoration with the addition of blue lozenges enclosing gold stars, and a cluster of flowers in the center within a circle of leaves.
