About this object

The decoration of these wares is distinctive- wide bands on all the pieces are in bleu Fallot covered with circles of gold dots and "incrusté" at wide intervals with clusters of various flowers; these bands are edged in gold on the inside, and on the outside with slightly molded white leaf scrolls alternating with stylized fan-like motifs, all touched with gold; the remaining areas, in white, are painted with scattered roses with leaves, either singly, in pairs, or just buds.
