About this object
A broad band at the top of the cup contains whorls in gold and magenta alternating with oval medallions in reddish brown linked by garlands of flowers on a dotted ground in pink and blue, at the top edge are trapezoidal blue panels each with a gold swag, the lower part of the cup is plain white with narrow, plain swags of leaves and berries. The saucer has the same decorative scheme as the cup.
