About this object

The ground is turquoise-blue with an allover pattern in gold like a checkerboard, of single flowers within leafy frames; on the cup within a large panel is a scene with two women in a landscape, one holding a basket of flowers, the other reading a book with the word "Ecole". The saucer has a very deep rim with the smae pattern as the cup, and a scene in the center of a man and a woman seated under a tree.
