About this object

On each side of each bowl is different hummingbird with an elaborate swag of seeds and husks hanging below them. Inside the rim is a border with a wavy ribbon and tendrils; all these borders and swags are the same as on the sugar bowls and are in shaded dull rust red and gold. The splayed foot is entirely gilded.
