About this object

Pastoral trophies and colorful clusters of fruits and flowers finely painted on a white ground and surrounded by gold frames enliven the lid of this tureen. Molded leafy branches painted in gold run down the sides of each medallion. On the top of the lid there is molded gilded knob.
