The ground is pink, the shape is like an urn with a flaring lip and a pedestal foot, the handle is a scroll, on the front of each cup is a panel reserved in white containing a cluster of flowers in color, framed by gold flower sprays and palm fronds.

MARK .4 Crossed L's, four dots for Theodore, painter and gilder, 1765-1779. The mark for Buteux (Charles-Nicolas), ainé painter of flowers and gilder 1763-1801. Also the mark for Chavaux (Michel-Barnabé), gilder, 1752-1788, in gold; and a sword, the mark for Evans (Etienne), painter of birds, butterflies , landscapes and flowers, 1752-1806.
