About this object

The background is turquoise-blue. Underneath each angular handle is a garland of flowers with ribbons in gold. On each face is an oval panel reserved in white painted with a landscape with two exotic birds in natural colors within gilt borders. The rectangular handles are in white touched in gold. The pail has three bun feet. The liner has turquoise edges. The cover has the same decoration of gilt floral swags that appears under each handle of the ice pail.
