About this object
The lower half of the bowl is embellished with a cut diamond pattern half while the upper section is engraved. On one side is a scene of a winged cupid in a flowering landscape who shoots an arrow at two kissing doves or lovebirds perched on an altar. Their wings are outstretched and a single ring or halo floats above their heads. The opposite side is engraved with the Cyrillic initials MIT with swags of leaves and grapevines. The stem is polygonal and base has star underneath. The engraving is of very high quality.
