About this object

Bowl is ribbed horizonatally. Lip is gilded. On front is a white glass oval medallion with a gilded edge. On the medallion in gold are the imperial crown and the monogram of Alexander I (A1) above an inscription dated 1814 and referring to taking of Paris in that year.
