About this object

On one side of the bell-shaped bowl is a very finely engraved bust of Catherine II framed by war trophies (cannon, drums, bugle, drums, and swords). On the opposite face is the imperial eagle with cipher EA and the imperial crown. Rim is cold-worked. Stem has two faceted knops--one inverted baluster and one proper--and has been cut into facets. Base is plain.
